INTERLOCK

A maintenance method which involves pulling the end of the Loc through the base of the section in clock wise rotations until clients desired tightness. This method tightens the Locs so well that it will last for 2 months. As well, with this technique when you wash your Locs your maintenance will not come undone like a Retwist. Be sure that your Loctician has excellent knowledge with using the Interlocking technique. If done poorly, can result to devastating problems with your Locs.

CROCHET

Crochet maintenance is a very efficient method to maintain your new growth with the help from the Crochet hook.

The Crochet hook is a tool that has curved hook on the end that gets inserted into your Loc. As the hook come out it pulls all the loose hairs back inside the Loc. This will compact the loose and tangled hairs in result to a smooth Locs.

Using the Crochet hook is a skill that will take some time to get used to if you are doing your own maintenance. My suggestion of how often you should crochet your new growth is every 2 months.

RETWIST

Re-twisting your Locs helps to keep your Locs tight. This method is when you twist your Locs, taking the new growth and twisting the new growth into the shaft of your Loc

I suggest to Retwist your Locs every four weeks. Keep in mind that this maintenance looks fantastic but will not last long especially when you wash your Locs.

Be careful not to twist your Locs too often as it can become damaging. Frequent twisting leads to breakage and thinning.
